SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions for the Asteroid IT support program.

Asteroid IT LLC — Effective Date: July 8, 2026

1. Program Description

Asteroid IT LLC operates an SMS support messaging program for existing clients. Messages include IT support updates, ticket notifications, troubleshooting communications, and service-related alerts. This program is intended solely for existing Asteroid IT clients with a signed service agreement.

2. Consent and Opt-In

By completing the SMS opt-in form and checking the consent checkbox, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages at the phone number provided. Opt-in can occur via form or by texting YES to the support number.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing services. Opt-in consent is specific to SMS only and does not constitute consent for marketing emails, phone calls, or other channels. Opt-in consent is non-transferable and applies solely to Asteroid IT program messages.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on active support requests and ticket activity. Messages occur when tickets are opened, updated, closed, or when technicians need to communicate regarding active support issues. No marketing or promotional messages are sent under this program.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply based on mobile carrier and plan. Asteroid IT is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

5. Opt-Out Instructions

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Upon receipt, a single confirmation message will be sent. Re-subscribe by texting START or completing the opt-in form at asteroidit.com/sms-optin.

Accepted opt-out keywords include: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT.

7. Supported Carriers

Program supports all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, US Cellular, and MetroPCS. Asteroid IT is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy and Data Use

  • Phone number and name collected solely for SMS support delivery
  • No mobile information shared with third parties for marketing
  • Opt-in data and consent never shared with third parties
  • Opt-in data will not be sold, rented, or transferred for direct marketing
  • Data governed by the Privacy Policy at asteroidit.com/privacy-policy

9. Prohibited Use

Program is for existing Asteroid IT clients only. Unsolicited messages, spam, harassment, or non-support communications are strictly prohibited.

10. Program Modifications and Termination

Asteroid IT reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program. Users will be notified via SMS prior to termination.
